How to Get Ready for Work in 30 Minutes

Let’s face it some of us are just not morning people. Creating a daily routine can make getting up in the morning more enjoyable, starting your day off on the right foot. Are you that man or woman who is already up for a 5:00 AM jog? Kudos, for being a morning warrior! Unfortunately, many of us are hitting the snooze button two or three times before rolling out of bed, ready to throw your alarm clock clear across the room. So what are the secret ingredients for a less chaotic morning? Don’t worry we’ve got you covered!

Save time by preparing for your work day the previous night. Taking a shower or relaxing bath before bed could potentially save you 10 to 30 minutes alone. It’s entirely okay, to take a shower in the morning if this helps you wake up. Just remember to keep it brief, as to stay on track and remain in our 30-minute time-frame.

I remember as a kid my parents would have us iron our clothes for the entire week. At first it made no sense. But when my mom said, “don’t you always ask for 5 to 10 more minutes to sleep every morning?” did it become abundantly clear why she had us doing this. It can be a painstaking task ironing clothes in the morning with everything else that has to be done. Decrease this stress by preparing your clothes the night before.

Get the most time consuming tasks out of the way before bed. Leave your morning opened to brushing your teeth, putting on make-up, skin care and hygiene products, and getting dressed. Dedicate the majority of your morning with the tips giving below. Here are some ideas for your daily routine:

You’ll feel energized leaving your co-workers wondering how you come to work pumped everyday.  Become a barista at home by making yourself an awesome cup of coffee with your favorite flavor.
